No need to load your bikes! Within 300 feet of this house is over 50 miles of "rails to trails" along the New River from Fries, Virginia to Pulaski, Virginia. Mostly flat with just an occasional few degrees of incline or decent. There are trestles, a tunnel, beautiful wild flowers, shoals and lots of cool shade in mostly secluded deep woodlands.

Great fishing* for small mouth bass, walleye pike, sunfish, catfish and many other varieties along with kayaking, canoing, tubing and wading.
